Relief in the Middle East
Regions throughout the Middle East, Palestine in particular, have weathered a tremendous amount of loss and destruction.
Humaniti has doubled our focus on bringing relief to these populations as much as possible.
Our programs are covering everything from emergency food, water and medical aid to constructing camps, hospitals and schools.
Food security in the Middle East
Extreme food insecurity and malnutrition claim the lives of millions across the Middle East which is why we prioritize food programs.
We provide hot meals and food supplies to vulnerable groups, families, healthcare centres and schools.
We increase these programs during Ramadan when millions are unable to take part in sacred ceremonies due to poor food access.
Water access in the Middle East
Countless people in the region bear the brunt of extreme water scarcity, forced to use disease-ridden water to cook, bathe and clean, let alone drink.
Humaniti is working in communities across the region to construct sustainable sources, from traditional wells to modern solar water boxes, yielding 10,000 litres of water daily.
Healthcare in the Middle East
Millions are barely getting by without medical care, whether they’ve been displaced by conflict, suffer extreme poverty, or live in remote regions without a doctor in sight.
We work with local organizations to provide medical services and strengthen healthcare systems where the need is most critical.
Livelihood in the Middle East
Extreme poverty and a lack of opportunity is a reality for many in the region.
But some face additional barriers to a prosperous life, such as caring for a disabled family member, or being a single mother.
Humaniti leads numerous livelihood initiatives that empower these groups to run their own business and provide for their family.

Across the world we prioritize the well-being of mothers whenever possible, and that includes the Middle East where women face additional sociocultural challenges.

Child welfare in the Middle East
A tremendous amount of children in the region have become orphaned in recent years.
We’re doing everything we can to provide these children with the care they need to live the healthy, full life they deserve.
Humaniti is providing orphans and refugee children with food, water, medical care, financial aid, clothing, counseling and education.
