Global disasters need a global response
Climate and conflict put millions of people in a state of immediate desperation. We aim to build the largest network for disaster relief, bringing urgent aid wherever it’s needed right now.
Meals
One of the most critical forms of disaster response is food. When entire communities experience a traumatic event they need nutritious food so they have the energy to make it through the aftermath and stabilize themselves.
Humaniti is on the front lines of as many disasters as possible delivering hot, ready-to-eat meals and food parcels that will last a household up to a month.
Water
Access to clean water is considered a luxury by millions, especially those in the wake of a disaster. People need clean water to survive and to feel physically capable to manage whatever conditions they’re faced with. Humaniti delivers clean water to those in immediate need of quenching their thirst, and works to establish sustainable water sources for communities as they rebuild.
Medical services
Disasters both natural and man-made leave a wake of suffering that ranges from cuts and bruises to life-threatening injuries to post-traumatic stress disorder. Humaniti seeks to meet the tremendous need for health services and medical care on the front lines of every major disaster, administering everything from first aid to surgeries to mental health support.
Shelter
One of the most life-threatening aspects of a disaster is displacement. Whole families and even entire communities are often forced from their homes with nothing but the shirt on their back.
Without shelter from the elements their chance of survival plummets. Humaniti provides temporary shelter solutions for displaced survivors with nowhere to go.
