A nation struggling to recover
Pakistan continues to face a relentless cycle of crises – devastating floods, extreme poverty, malnutrition, and mass displacement. In 2022, floods affected over 33 million people, submerging one-third of the country.
In 2025, floods struck again and affected over 6.9 million people across Pakistan, displaced 3.5 million, and caused over 900 deaths – setting back years of progress and compounding the national crisis.
Millions of children at risk
The crisis has left millions of children without access to clean water, food, or medical care. Pakistan continues to face one of the highest child malnutrition rates in the world, with nearly 1 in 3 children suffering from stunted growth due to chronic undernutrition.
Without urgent intervention, millions more are at risk of starvation, disease, and death.

How Humaniti serves
- Emergency relief: ready-to-deploy resources and local partnerships allow us to deliver food, water, and medical aid within hours across Pakistan.
- Food security: hot meals, community kitchens, Ramadan and Qurbani distributions, and food baskets provide reliable access to nutritious food for families facing hunger.
- Water: solar-powered filtration systems, community wells, and hand pumps provide thousands of liters of water daily in drought-hit villages and flood-affected regions.
- Healthcare: lifesaving treatment, recovery from malnutrition, hospital expansions, and mobile clinics delivering free healthcare to communities once beyond reach.
- Education: school restorations, teacher support, student meal programs, and tuition assistance to keep children learning and owning their future.
- Livelihood: skills training, microfinance support, and small business development to help families rebuild income and achieve long-term stability.
- Orphan care: safe homes, learning opportunities, and compassionate caregiving provide orphaned children the sense of family, security, and belonging they deserve.
- Shelter: tents, temporary housing, and permanent home construction and restoration for families displaced by disaster and poverty.
Investing in stability & opportunity (2022–2025)
- Over 220 students, teachers, and their families were supported with food, their schools were restored, and tuition was expanded in Sindh, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- 4,500 individuals were trained and financed to build sustainable income, turning farmers into enterprise owners.
- 70 solar-powered water boxes providing thousands of gallons of safe drinking water for years to come.
