It’s amazing what people are capable of with even the smallest amount of support. Our Thrivers program helps thousands of bright, talented individuals remove barriers and secure rewarding work.
Recent project highlights
Enhancing financial capabilities for 50 families through agricultural training & equipment.
Empowering 50 women-led households through ongoing training and support for them to run their own businesses.
Supporting 100 vulnerable women through a 2-month sponsorship covering essential needs and living expenses.
Supporting a family of 5 that includes disabled individuals by constructing a mini market they will operate as a means of income.
Providing 17 people in need with a microfinancing loan to develop their own businesses and thrive as entrepreneurs.
Training and certification
Thrivers was launched for people who are new to the country, need a hand at finding a better career, or are facing barriers to employment due to a lack of skills.
Our teachers and tutors facilitate training and certification to help applicants secure placement at leading companies across a range of industries including:
- Logistics
- Construction
- Cyber-security
Job search and application
Skills aside, many people struggle with the job search itself. It can be challenging to navigate the crowded job market and understand where to look, how to apply, and what to do to increase the likelihood of securing the right role.
At Thrivers we have a team of dedicated job search experts who are here to help applicants:
- Improve resumé and application writing
- Access a network of employers
- Identify high potential roles
Interview prep and negotiations
At Thrivers we also help job seekers put their best foot forward during the interview process and salary negotiations. We work with applicants to maximize their chances of getting hired by practicing:
- Honing conversation skills
- Communicating their value clearly
- Negotiating salary confidently
