The cost breakdown for each project varies, however we do our very best to allocate 85-95% of donations to project costs so your hard-earned money goes directly to helping those in need. Our administration keeps under 10% of revenues, with the remaining funds directed to all project-related commitments. Zakat funds are allocated 100% to projects, and Humaniti takes no administrative fee.
Absolutely! When you donate to Humaniti Foundation, you’re not only supporting a noble cause but also receiving tax benefits. Here’s how it works:
For Canadian Donors: We’re registered as a charitable organization in Canada, ensuring your gifts are tax-deductible in accordance with Canadian tax laws. Our Canadian Tax ID is 719676926RR0001CRA, and our office is located in Thornhill, Ontario.
For US Donors: Humaniti Foundation is recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This means your donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law. Our Tax Identification Number (EIN) is 92-3079413. We’re based in Plano, Texas, and comply with all federal and state regulations regarding charitable contributions.

Tax receipts for the previous year will be sent automatically to the email we have on file. Tax receipts are only available for US and Canadian donors.
